Earthkeeper Farm grows Certified Naturally Grown vegetables, wheat, elderberries, and garden plants. We sell at the Fulton Street Farmers Market in Grand Rapids from May-October. Our farm is located in Kent City, MI. 

What is your farm philosophy?

We strive to create a healthy farm ecosystem by building soil quality, encouraging beneficial insects and pollinators, and supporting the vibrancy of life on the farm.

Vegetables, wheat, elderberries, and garden vegetable plants

What are your biggest challenges this season?

We are perpetually seeking financial security from our farm. This means trying new crops and developing new products, which is very exciting and fun. But it also makes for an overwhelming workload at times.

What are you looking forward to in the season to come?

Expanding the elderberry plot is a spring project we are super excited about. We are scaling up to a full acre, adding about 600-700 more plants. Also, this July we will be harvesting a couple new varieties of hard wheat. They were planted for their excellent bread-flour qualities. We can't wait to try them out!

What do you want consumers to know about you?
Farming is my truest passion.
